Rajasthan: IAF shoots down unidentified object over Barmer
Barmer, Jan 26 (IBNS) The Indian Air Force's radar on Tuesday picked up an unidentified balloon-shaped object over Rajasthan's Barmer district, media reports said.
An IAF fighter intercepted and shot down the object, reports said.
“An IAF fighter was launched which intercepted the object and brought it down. Further investigation is on,” an IAF official was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
The incident occurred on a day when the nation is celebrating Republic Day.
