Rabri Devi donates one month salary to fight COVID-19

Patna/UNI: Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLC Rabri Devi on Wednesday announced to donate her one month salary in the CM relief fund to fight against coronavirus.

Making this announcement Rabri Devi said here on Wednesday that she was donating her salary to save the victims of coronavirus and help the doctors and other personnel associated with health services who are fighting a battle against the Corona.

The fund is essential for the treatment and to purchase the medical equipments, she said adding that the government should ensure the availability of all required facilities for treatment of victims of coronavirus.

Appealing to the people and other leaders cutting across party line to co-operate in the current situation she suggested the people maintain self-discipline otherwise, it would be highly dangerous for society.

Even a single action may put the entire country in a dangerous position she said and appeal to the people not to step out of their houses during the lockdown period.

She said that this is one of the most important steps that would save the entire country from coronavirus pandemic.
