Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Uttarakhand today

New Delhi, Dec 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttarakhand on Tuesday.

Modi said he will visit Devbhoomi for the inauguration of a infrastructure project.

"Will visit Devbhoomi Uttarakhand today for the inauguration of a key infrastructure project, the Char Dham highway development programme,"Modi tweeted.

Speaking on the project, he said: "Char Dham highway project will lead to creation of over 900 km of roads. Connectivity & tourism will get a strong boost through the project."

"Adding of bypasses, tunnels, bridges & flyovers will ease travel. Proper slope stabilisation will ensure protection against landslides," the Prime Minister said.

Modi said he will address public meeting in Dehradun.
