Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kyrgyz President Atambayev to hold discussions on Tuesday

New Delhi, Dec 20 (IBNS): The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almazbek Sharshenovich Atambayev, who is on a state visit to India, paid homage at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi, in Rajghat, in Delhi on Tuesday.

The President is accompanied by his wife Raisa Atambaeva.

At Rajghat, the centre's Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Y.S. Chowdary was also present.

President Almazbek Sharshenovich Atambayev, who is leading a high-level delegation of ministers, senior officials and business leaders from the Kyrgyz Republic, will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to hold bilateral discussions.

Prime Minister Modi will host a lunch for the visiting President.

President Pranab Mukherjee will receive President Atambayev and host a Dinner Banquet in his honour.

The visit of President Atambayev is his first visit to India in his capacity as President.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Kyrgyzstan in July 2015.
