President of India's greets on the eve of Liberation Day of Albania

New Delhi, Nov 28 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of Albania on the occasion of their Liberation Day.

It will be observed on Nov 29.

In his message to Bujar Nishani, President of the Republic of Albania, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Albania on the occasion of your Liberation Day."

"India and Albania have much in common as pluralistic democracies. India is committed to strengthening our cooperation with Albania in all sectors, especially in commercial and economic cooperation and people-to-people contacts in the years ahead. We look forward to further enhancing our cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral fora," he said.

Mukherjee said: "Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and personal well being and for progress and prosperity of the people of Albania.”
