President of India’s message on the eve of Independence Day of Kazakhstan

New Delhi, Dec 15 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic Kazakhstan on the eve of their Independence Day (December 16, 2016).

In a message to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend to you and to the people of Kazakhstan warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.

The impressive progress made by Kazakhstan in all spheres during the last 25 years owes much to your wise leadership. The close and friendly cooperation between India and Kazakhstan has grown in these years and I am confident that through our common endeavours our broad based and friendly bilateral relationship will continue to deepen further for the mutual benefit of our peoples.

I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s well-being and success and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Kazakhstan."
