Srinagar, Sep 28 (IBNS) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday summoned Independent Jammu and Kashmir lawmaker Er Rasheed for questioning in an alleged funding case, reports said on Thursday.

Rasheed, who has been called for questioning on October 3, is the first unionist politician to be summoned by the NIA in the case,  officials said.

Reports said that his name had cropped up during the interrogation of businessman Zahoor Watali, who was arrested by the NIA for allegedly supplying money to terror groups and separatists in the Valley.
