Narendra Modi wishes Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal

New Delhi, Dec 8 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday wished Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on his birthday.

Modi called Badal a 'humble & compassionate leader'.

"Birthday wishes to Shri Parkash Singh Badal, a humble & compassionate leader who has always been working for welfare of farmers & the poor," Modi tweeted. 

The Punjab Chief Minister turned 89.
