Minor arrested for making hoax call to IGI

New Delhi, May 21 (IBNS):The Delhi Police on Saturday said a minor has been apprehended by IGI Airport Police for making hoax call that bomb has been planted in a aircraft.

The call was made on May 18.

The boy was arrested from a village in Greater Noida.

"IGI Airport has apprehended 16 years old boy from Village Jalpura, Greater Noida,UP who made a hoax call to the Bombay based call centre of Air India on 18.05.2016," the police said in a statement.

"The boy informed the call centre that bomb has been planted in the flight having scheduled departure from Delhi at 0400 hrs," it said.
