Mumbai/UNI: A Special Court here on Wednesday awarded three-years of Rigorous Imprisonment(RI) to a man for molesting a former Bollywood actor on board a domestic flight in December 2017.

Special Judge A D Deo convicted Vikas Sachdev under the IPC section 354 (assault or criminal force on woman with an intent to outrage her modesty).

The 41-year-old Sachdev was also convicted under relevant provisions of POCSO Act, since the victim was 17 years old when the incident took place.

The victim had alleged that she was molested by the middle-age-man on board an Air Vistara flight from Delhi to Mumbai.
