Kolkata: Woman molested in running auto, accused held

Kolkata, May 22 (IBNS): A man was arrested on Sunday late evening at Behala Buro Shibtala area for allegedly molesting a middle-aged woman in running auto, reports said.

According to reports, the man allegedly molested his co-passenger in a Behala to Tollygunge Phari bound auto rickshaw. When the woman, who was going to Ranikuthi, shouted for help, driver stopped his auto and locals caught the accused. The man was handed over to the police later.

The woman has lodged a complaint against the molester at Behala Police Station. Police have, started investigation into the matter. The accused is likely to be produced in Alipore Court on Monday.
