Kolkata: State bus runs over man
According to reports, a 39-year-old man- Rajeev Mehrotra- was coming from his residence at Mandirtala area in West Bengal's Howrah district by a CTC bus (Nabanna - BBD Bag route) on Saturday morning.
When he tried to get down from the running bus at the crossing of Old Court House Street and Government Place North, he lost his balance and fell down and was crushed under the back wheels of the state bus.
After being rescued, he was rushed to Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial (SSKM) hospital where he was declared brought dead.
