Kolkata: Fire breaks out at Howrah station's food court, no casualty

Kolkata, Dec 16 (IBNS): A major fire broke out at the food court of Howrah railway station's old complex on Friday early morning, triggering huge panic among the passengers.

According to reports, the fire was first noticed at around 6:20 am inside the kitchen of food court and it spread quickly.

As many as five fire engines rushed to the spot and doused the blaze in just 15 minutes.

As very few passengers were present there that time, no casualty was reportedly in the incident.

Investigation has been started into the incident to know the exact reason behind the fire, according to fire and emergency services officials.
