Jharkhand: Girl gang raped in Jamtara

Jamtara/UNI: A girl was gang raped by five culprits under Kundhit Police Station area of this district.

Though the incident had taken place couple of days earlier the girl today registered her complaint at the police station. After the registration of the fir police conducted raids but all the five accused had fled from the area.

The girl in her complaint said that she was returning from Singhvahini High School after collecting the admit card when she was stopped mid-way by one Sitaram Marandi who alongwith his four other friends forcibly took her to the forest where she was gang raped and after she become unconscious the culprits fled from the spot.

Somehow she managed to reach to her parents who were also searching for her as night had fell and narrated the entire incident after which the girl accompanied by her family members registered the complaint.
