Jaish module busted in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 3 (IBNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday busted an over ground workers (OGW) network of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit by arresting three of its members at Handwara town in north Kashmir.

“The OGW network, which was operating since April 2015, was involved in various subversive activities and determined to target political workers, security force installations and police establishments,” a Police Spokesman said.

These operators were providing logistic support to the JeM militants and were close associates of a top commander of JeM.

The police spokesman said, “Ghulam Nabi Lone @ Prince, Umar Mushtaq and Ishfaq Ahmad Parray were arrested in this connection,”.

According to police, by arresting trio major threat had been averted in the north Kashmir.
