Hardcore NDFB(S) ultra nab in Chirang

Guwahati, Apr 4 (IBNS) : Security forces have apprehended a hardcore militant belonging to NDFB(S) in Assam's Chirang district on Saturday, officials said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police had launched an operation at Santipur area under Runikhata police station in the BTAD district and nabbed the militant.

The nabbed militant was identified as Manoj Narzary.

Security personnel have recovered a 9mm pistol and four rounds live ammunition in possession from him.
