Demand for evacuation of Indians stuck in coronavirus-hit countries raised in LS

New Delhi/UNI: RSP Member N K Premachandran said in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday that the Government should send special aircraft to evacuate Indians stranded in coronavirus-hit countries.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour, the RSP Member said Indians, including students, are stuck in coronavirus-hit countries like Italy and Malaysia, as many international flights have been cancelled.

External Affairs Ministry, the RSP Member said,  should send special aircraft to the affected countries to evacuate them.

Talking about COVID-19, Congress Member A Chellakumar said Indian students are stranded in Philippines and Malaysia as well.
