Delhi Assembly Polls: Arvind Kejriwal holds roadshows

New Delhi/UNI: Campaigning by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the coming February 8 Delhi Assembly polls has picked up with party's national convenor and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal holding roadshows in different assembly constituencies.

Kejriwal, who held three roadshows in West Delhi's Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar and Madipur Assembly constituencies on Friday, claimed people all over in the national Capital were very happy with the work done by the AAP government during the last five years.

The AAP's national convenor's roadshows were in support of party candidates Rajesh Rishi, Jarnail Singh and Girish Soni who have been fielded from Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar and Madipur respectively.

Kejriwal, during the roadshows, was accompanied by the party candidates who are contesting from these Assembly seats.

'Grand road shows in Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar and Madipur assemblies. People all over Delhi are very happy with the work of the Aam Aadmi Party government,' Kejriwal said in a tweet.

A large number of AAP supporters gathered today in the Assembly constituencies where Kejriwal held the roadshows.

The Delhi elections are scheduled to be held on February 8. The counting of votes will take place on February 11.

The Delhi assembly election 2020 will witness a triangular contest between AAP, BJP and Congress.
