Congress removes its Bihar chief Ashok Chaudhary

Patna, Sep 26 (IBNS): The Congress on Tuesday removed its Bihar chief Ashok Chaudhary with an immediate effect, media reports said.

The decision came from the Congress party after Chaudhary accused party members of creating rebellion against him.

The former Bihar chief had earlier said that the party members are wrongly accusing him of trying to split the party.

Presently, the Congress, who fought the 2015 assembly election in the state forming a grand alliance with the Janata Dal (United) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has 27 out of 243 seats.
