Assam Rifles apprehend five people, recover Marijuana worth Rs 4 crore in Nagaland

Guwahati/IBNS: Security forces have apprehended five persons and recovered a huge quantity of Marijuana worth Rs 4 crore in Nagaland’s Dimapur district.

In a joint operation with police, troops of Assam Rifles apprehended five persons including four people hailing from Manipur with Psychotropic substance at general area Kukidolong in Dimapur district.

Based on a specific input, security forces in a joint operation with Nagaland police apprehended five persons of which four are from Senapati district in Manipur, and recovered 1000 kg Marijuana worth approximately Rs 4 crore at Kukidolong area.  

The apprehended people along  with recovered items were handed over to Chumukedima police station in Dimapur district for further investigation.
