New Delhi, May 7 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday attacked the Centre over the issue of scrapping of the Amethi food park project and said the government was following politics of 'revenge'.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he said: "Last year, during election PM came to Amethi, spoke about 52 minutes..In the PM's speech, I liked one thing which he said ' Main Badle Ki Rajneeti Nahi, Badlav Ki Rajniti Karunga' (I won't do politics of revenge, I will perform politics to bring change)."

Gandhi said: "I feel that there is a politics of 'Badla'. The Food Park in Amethi has been cancelled."

He urged the Centre not to cancel the park.

"All I want to say is the Food Park in Amethi will bring a massive change in the lives of farmers, please don’t cancel it," the Amethi MP said in the Lok Sabha.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said he will look into the issue.
