Jharkhand Assembly Poll Results: All Updates

The results of five-phase assembly elections in Jharkhand are coming out on Monday. In the elections, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) stitched an alliance to take on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The BJP, however, went solo in the elections after breaking up with Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM).

BJP is getting exposed: Ghulam Nabi Azad

Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said, "The BJP is getting exposed. They have not kept a single promise. People took six years to realise it."

BJP will form government in Jharkhand: Raghubar Das

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said, "The government will be formed by the BJP."

The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance is leading in 43 seats while the BJP in 27, JVM in 3 and Others in 5.

JMM-Congress-RJD is leading in 40 seats while BJP in 30. JVM and Others in 3 and 4 respectively. 

Will be a clean sweep in Jharkhand: Tejashwi Yadav

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "There will be a clean sweep in favour of the alliance in Jharkhand and Hemant Soren will become the Chief Minister.'

We will decide what to do after poll results come out fully: Babulal Marandi

JVM leader Babulal Marandi said, "The elections were held till yesterday. We will decide the next course of action after the entire results come out. We will decide after a meeting with the organisation."

May be the opposition votes got polarised: Raghubar Das

Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP candidate Raghubar Das said, "May be the opposition votes were polarised in the alliance. But I won't jump to any conclusion as the results are still to come out.'

The JMM-Congress-RJD ahead in 39 seats, BJP in 29.
