Kolkata, September 12 (IBNS): Kolkata’s popular retail store Starmark, in association with Puffin Books, hosted ‘Celebrating 100 Years of Roald Dahl’ to mark the 100th birth anniversary of the world’s famous story teller Roald Dahl, at Quest Mall, Kolkata on Saturday.

The program began with a story telling session based on which children were quizzed on  Roald Dahl and his works.

Besides, there were various activities such as a quiz contest and a colouring session.

At the colouring session, children were asked to draw and colour their dreams, similar to the “Dream Jar” from the book ‘The BFG’.

The event was anchored by Tanya Bakshi.

Children enthusiastically participated in all the activities and listened with rapt attention to the stories of ‘Mr Fox’, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and ‘Matilda’.
