English graphic adaptation of Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay's 'The Boxer' to be launched in Kolkata's Starmark today

Kolkata, July 13 (IBNS) Kolkata's popular lifestyle store Starmark is all set to launch English graphic adaptation of Bengali writer Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay's novel 'The Boxer' on Monday.

The book will be launched at Starmark's South City Mall outlet.

The launch will be followed by a panel discussion featuring writer Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay, cartoonist-filmmaker Sarbajit Sen, singer  Anindya Chatterjee, Jadavpur University professor Abhijit Gupta, graphic designer and illustrator  Pinaki De and Associate Director, PR & Events, The Park Supreeta Singh.

"Boxer Ratan revolves around a pugilist and his scientist father. It is a thrilling tale told through through lots of action sequences  starting from the boxing ring, the fights and then the chase,"  said Mukhopadhyay who was a fan of legendary boxers Muhammad Ali and  Joe Louis since his childhood days.
