ASSOCHAM submits its report on El Nino, drought to Mamata

Kolkata, June 6 (IBNS): Apex industry body ASSOCHAM on Friday said it has submitted a copy of its report titled â€˜El Nino, Drought and Growth Concerns of Indian Economy,â€™ to the West Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee.

In its report, ASSOCHAM has highlighted the likely economic implications of a drought taking place in the current fiscal.

Besides, it has also suggested a list of policy measures needed in the case of country witnessing drought at this juncture.
