Seven arrested in connection with the London attack, death toll down to

London, Mar 23 (IBNS) : Seven people have been arrested in connection with Wednesday's Westminster "Lone wolf" terror attack that has left altogether four people dead, The Telegraph reported.

The report quoted Mark Rowley, a senior anti-terror officer as saying that  six addresses have been raided in London, Birmingham and elsewhere overnight following the attack linked to "Islamic terrorism in some form".

Police revised the death toll from Wednesday's incident down from five to four, including the attacker.

While police constable Keith Palmer was stabbed to death by the unidentified attacker, who police believe acted alone, a woman  in her 40s and a man in his 50s where mown down as the terrorist sped across Westminster Bridge in his car.

The attacker was shot dead by the police.

A total of 29 people were treated in hospital following the carnage, with seven people remaining in a critical condition on Thursday morning.
