Julian Assange to leave Ecuadorian embassy 'soon'

London, Aug 18 (IBNS) Wikileaks founder Julian Assange on Monday said he will bne leaving the embassy of Ecuador in London after taking refuge in it for two years.

The  Ecuadorian embassy in London had granted asylum  to the  whistle-blowing website founder in 2012.

Spaking at a press conference here, Assange said he will be leaving the embassy 'soon'.

Ecuadorian foreign minister  Ricardo Patino said the country will continue top protect Assange.

Assangte had  sought refuge Ecuador embassy in Britain to avert extradition to Sweden.
