Five feared dead as plane crashes into shopping mall in Melbourne

Melbourne, Feb 21 (IBNS): Five people, including the pilot, are feared dead after a charter plane crashed into a shopping outlet on Tuesday in Melbourne, Australia, according to media reports.

The plane exploded after crashing into the discount shopping mall, DFO Essendon, about 9am. Witnesses said massive ball of flames could be seen after the plane hit the buidling.

The Beechcraft Super King Air twin-engine aircraft with five aboard had taken off from nearby Essendon Airport, heading for King Island, reports said..
