Dubai building fire brought under control

Dubai, Apr 2 (IBNS): Fire broke out at a building close to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai city on Sunday, media reports said.

According to media reports, the building has been identified as The Address Residence Fountain Views.

Dubai Civil Defence and Dubai Police said they rescued three workers who were trapped in the fire that broke out at the building, Gulf News reported.

Dubai Media Office  said the fire has been brought under control.

"Fire at Fountain Views towers has been brought under control; cooling operations are underway," read a tweet posted by the Dubai Media Office.
