Afghanistan: Explosion heard in Herat city, casualties feared

Kabul, July 30 (IBNS): At least one person was reportedly killed in a heavy explosion in Afghanistan's Herat city on Saturday morning.

Khaama Press quoted officials as saying that one person was killed in the incident, while few others were injured..

The blast took place in the northern part of the city near an Afghan army compound.
