He also assured to consider a demand of Rs.65 lakh for the up-gradation of its attractive Light and Sound Show to the 3D version.
Later, Mahesh Sharma visited the Asiatic Society, the foremost institution of national heritage in the country, to take stock of the situation there.The Minister held a meeting with the members, staff and officers of the organization to assess the areas in which improvement is required .
He assured them a possible two-fold increase in the annual allocation for the great institution.Sharma also discussed the various problems and issues concerning the Museum and other wings of Asiatic Society and assured all help to the officials to sort them out at the earliest.
