Thousands marched the street in the last journey of former West Bengal Chief Minister and Marxist icon Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee from the party's headquarters Muzaffar Ahmad Bhawan to the NRS Medical College and Hospital on Friday. A sea of his followers and Communist leaders, workers and Left-leaning prominent personalities in Kolkata bade him an emotional farewell.
