Bengal Pro T20: Murshidabad Kings beat Siliguri Strikers

Kolkata/IBNS: Murshidabad Kings won easily against Servotech Siliguri Strikers (SSS) in the Men's Sobisco Bengal Pro T20 League game at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.

SSS won the toss and elected to bat and could only put up 113 all out with Vikash Singh scoring 36 balls 31 runs and Akashdeep muscling a quickfire 30.

Nitin Verma was a stand-out bowler with figures of 3 for 21 and Jeet Thakur picking up 2 wickets for 1 run.

In reply, Sudip Gharami led Murshidabad Kings to the target with 48 runs, and Shuvam Dey scored 37 runs.

Akashdeep picked up 3 for 19 in vain.

Sudip Gharami won the Man of the Match for his batting display.
