Mumbai, May 31 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, who is undergoing treatment for cancer in the US, on Friday tweeted asking when will he 'ever' go home.

Rishi is currently in New York for the past eight months.

"Today I complete eight months here in New York. When will l ever get home?," the actor tweeted.

Rishi, earlier this month, told Deccan Chronicle that he was cancer-free.

“My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US. But God has been kind! I am in remission, meaning now I am cancer-free," he told the newspaper.

“I will have to do a bone-marrow transplant which in all probability should take another two months minimum," he said.

“Being in remission is a big thing and it’s all because of my family and my fans prayers and duas that have worked. I thank them all," he told the newspaper.

Rishi left for the USA in September last year.

During his stay in the US, several Bollywood stars had met him.
