Actor Mitchell Slaggert is set to join the cast of Virgin River in its upcoming eighth season, according to a report by Deadline.
Slaggert to play EMT Eddie
The report claimed Slaggert will feature in a major recurring role in the popular Netflix drama, portraying a charismatic EMT named Eddie.
While details about Eddie’s storyline remain under wraps, the character is expected to interact with Doc, played by Tim Matheson, and lead character Mel Monroe, portrayed by Alexandra Breckenridge.
Eddie may also cross paths with Brady, played by Ben Hollingsworth, particularly if the character recovers quickly from the accident teased at the end of the previous season.
