Mumbai, Nov 14 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Vidya Balan was recently left shocked when a journalist asked her if she was planning to reduce her weight.

During an event recently, a journalist asked Vidya: "Have you thought of losing weight for glamourous roles or want to continue doing women-centric movies?"

The question left Vidya shocked and she was quick in giving a strong response when she said: "I'm very happy with what I'm doing. It will be great if there could be a change in people's perception."

Vidya is known for portraying strong women characters on screen.

She will soon be seen in Tumhari Sulu.

The movie will release on Nov 17.
