Varun impressed by Johnson's 'Hercules'

Mumbai, Aug 1 (IBNS): Actor Varun Dhawan has expressed his excitement after watching actor Dwayne Johnson's recently released 'Hercules’ at a special screening of the film in Mumbai's Sunny Super Sound Studio.

The epic movie starring The Rock as Hercules, Zeus and Achilles released on Friday and Varun Dhawan was left totally impressed after watching it and tweeted: “The Rock, the man is back kicking ass the rock is outstanding!”

Speaking about his favourite star, the actor said, “Dwayne Johnson is my icon. I look up to him for his dedication towards fitness. He is an amazing actor and I have watched all his movies.”

The movie is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Distributed jointly by Paramount Pictures and MGM, the movie is directed by Brett Ratner. The movie also stars Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt. The movie released on Friday.
