| @indiablooms | Jan 12, 2018, at 04:45 am

Mumbai, Jan 11 (IBNS) Union Leader, written and directed by Sanjay Patel, is inspired from real life events that filmmaker Sanjay Patel experienced as he worked as an engineer in chemical plants in India.

When asked what compelled him to make this film, the directed said, "UNION LEADER is personal project that I felt utterly compelled to make because of my background and because I know firsthand the critical nature of this issue that impacts millions of workers around the globe."

"Plus, I draw inspiration for UNION LEADER from some of the most successful Hollywood movies such as On the Waterfront, Norma Rae, Erin Brockovich, Silkwood, and Michael Clayton."

Union Leader is slated to release on 19 Jan  2018.
