Mumbai, Sept 12 (IBNS): The Indian silverscreen is witnessing a battle between two horror movies-Stree and The Nun.

While Stree released on Aug 31, the Indian movie is still giving a tough competition to Hollywood's latest release The Nun.

Continuing its golden run, actor Rajkummar Rao's latest movie Stree, which is loosely based on the southern Indian legend of Nale Ba, earned Rs. 88 crores at the Box Office till Tuesday.

"#Stree maintains the momentum... Is ROCK-STEADY... [Week 2] Fri 4.39 cr, Sat 7.63 cr, Sun 9.88 cr, Mon 3.31 cr, Tue 3.22 cr. Total: ₹ 88.82 cr. India biz," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The Nun has been equally liked by fans in India.

On Sept 10, film critic Taran Adarsh had tweeted that The Nun had earned Rs.  28.50 crores at the Indian Box Office so far.

The movie broke Conjuring series’ opening weekend record in India.

Now, two actors have played crucial roles in writing the success stories of the movies.

They are actors Bonnie Aarons and Flora Saini.

Bonnie played the character of the scary nun Valak in the Hollywood movie.

In an Instagram post, Bonnie said she felt 'so honored' to scare people by portraying the evil nun in the movie.

"World premiere The Nun the Most Beautiful horror film ever made. I am so honored & Thrilled to scare the crap out of everyone! @thenunmovie Thank you @creepypuppet @corinhardy@newlinecinema @wbpictures

Saini, on the other hand, impressed fans as the unconventional Indian ghost Stree in the movie which also featured actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

Both the actors are currently enjoying the success of their respective movies.

Flora is quite regular in Instagram and recently she shared an image with her Stree colleague actor  Atul Shrivastava.

She captioned the image as: "Look who I just met 😀 #atulshrivastava sir .. Vickey pleeeeeeej @rajkummar_rao's father in the film #streethe cutest on and off screen 🌺🌺🌺🤗👻."
