Sushmita Sen mourns death of Miss Universe 1995 Chelsi Smith

Mumbai, Sept 9 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen on Sunday mourned the death of Miss Universe 1995 Chelsi Smith.

Smith was Sen's successor as Miss Universe 1995.

Mourning the death of the beauty, Sen tweeted: "I loved her smile & that generous spirit!!! Rest in peace my beautiful friend @Chelsi_Smith #MissUniverse1995 Dugga Dugga ."

Sen had won the prestigious Miss Universe award in 1994.

Smith died after battling liver cancer at the age of 43.

In the image, which Sen shared on her Twitter page, the moment when the Indian beauty passed her crown to Smith, has been captured.
