Subhash Ghai's Jaanaki mirrors reality as an abandoned daughter travels from France to find her parents in India

In a bizarre incident, a young girl named Neha from France, travelled back to Pune, in search of her biological parents.

Apparently, Neha was only 30 days old, when she was adopted by a French couple and now after 21 years, she has returned back to India with a yearning to meet her biological parents.

Neha's  story mirrors the storyline of Subhash Ghai's maiden television production 'Jaanaki.'
