Inside Operation Sindoor: Discovery's explosive documentary promises never-before-seen details
Mumbai/IBNS: Discovery has announced a new two-part documentary, Declassified: Operation Sindoor, a rare first look into one of the country’s most significant military campaigns.
The series will premiere exclusively on Discovery and discovery+ on August 15, 2026, part 1 airing at 9 PM, and second installment at 10 PM.
The unprecedented documentary brings together representatives from India’s military leadership, ground operatives, defence experts and journalists to recount the behind-the-scenes operation during the 88-hour conflict.
Following the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, the series traces India's response from the earliest strategic deliberations and military preparations to the launch and execution of Operation Sindoor.
Featuring compelling first-hand accounts, it puts a spotlight on the individuals in India’s war rooms and on the frontlines, offering an inside look at the conflict between two nuclear powered countries.
Going beyond the public narrative, it reveals the critical moments and strategic choices that remained undisclosed until now.
