SOTY completes six years, Karan Johar feels proud of his 'students'

Mumbai, Oct 19 (IBNS): As filmmaker Karan Johar's Student of the Year completed six years of its release, he said he feels proud of his three students.

Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were the three actors Karan launched with the movie in 2012.

Punit Malhotra directorial film on Friday completed six years of its release.

Thanking the actors for making the movie a hit, Karan tweeted: "So proud of @S1dharthM @aliaa08 @Varun_dvn !! Love you !!! #SOTY #6YearsOfSOTY."

Karan's production company Dharma Productions and Punit are now busy making a sequel of the film.

Tiger Shroff, actor Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya and ballet dancer Tara Sutaria will be part of the movie.
