Sonakshi Sinha to campaign for mother in Lucknow

She, along with her father Shatrughan Sinha and twin brothers Love and Kush, will hold a roadshow in the city.

Several other Bollywood stars, including Jaya Bachchan and others, are also likely to join the Sinha family during the roadshow.
The roadshow will start from the Samajwadi Party headquarters and will pass through different parts of the state capital.

The Sinha family would board the 'Samajwadi rath' along with Dimple Yadav and others to seek vote for Poonam.

The polling for Lucknow Lok Sabha seat would be held in the fifth phase on May 6 and campaigning would end on May 4 evening.

Congress has questioned the presence of its party candidate from Patna Saheb Lok Sabha seat Shatrughan Sinha campaigning in support of his wife, who is a rival SP candidate in Lucknow.

"We had already asked Shatrughan to do his political dharma by supporting the party candidate in Lucknow when he performed his family dharma by making his presence felt during the nomination of Poonam Sinha on April 18," said Lucknow Congress candidate Acharya Pramod Krishnam here on Thursday.

"It seems we have to fight the SP candidate first in Lucknow before taking on our bigger rival Rajnath Singh," he commented.

But Shatrughan said that he has taken prior permission from the party high command to campaign in Lucknow in favour of his wife.
 
Polling in Patna Saheb elections in Bihar would be held in the last phase on May 19.
