Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy hit Rs 100 crore mark

Mumbai, Feb 22 (IBNS): Actor Ranveer Singh hit another Box Office goal when his first release of the year-Gully Boy- crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark, film analyst Taran Adarsh said.

"#GullyBoy crosses ₹ cr in *extended* Week 1... Biz divided... Metros impressive. Driven by plexes... Mass pockets ordinary/dull... Thu 19.40 cr, Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 18.65 cr, Sun 21.30 cr, Mon 8.65 cr, Tue 8.05 cr, Wed 6.05 cr, Thu 5.10 cr. Total: ₹ 100.30 cr. India biz," Adarsh tweeted.

The strong performance in the movie is significant as it released at a time when there was no major holiday last week.

Gully Boy united Ranveer with director Zoya Akhtar once again.

Ranveer and Alia Bhatt worked in the same movie for the first time in their careers.

The movie released on Feb 14.
