Ranveer Singh at his fittest for 'Befikre'
Mumbai, July 4 (IBNS): They say nothing in life comes easy and Ranveer Singh knows this better than most. For his look in the upcoming film Befikre, Ranveer has been working very hard on his body to get into the character and his dedication is definitely showing in the Befikre posters.
London based fitness trainer and transformation expert Lloyd Stevens has been in charge of the actor’s transformation and has helped Ranveer to transform from his suave Bajirao avatar to the athletic hero in just a month and a half.
Lloyd has earlier worked with Ranveer in 2013 for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyo ki Rasleela- Ram-Leela.
To acquire the body for the role Ranveer’s has forsaken his first love Nutella completely. In fact, for the last three months he has also given up caffeine, sweets, aerated drinks, Junk food and alcohol completely with no scope of a cheat day.
Lloyd Stevens has also flown to Paris and has been working passionately along with Ranveer Singh for his look.
The zealous Lloyd has made it compulsory for the actor to maintain a strict dietary plan (prepared by his personal chef Mohit Vargaonkar’) with workouts.
“Ranveer is passionate about his work and entertaining to be around, so it was fun. Today, he's a big star and a perfectionist. He continues to be a natural born entertainer and is a great person to train with. Despite his phenomenal popularity, Ranveer remains grounded, especially with his fans," says an impressed Lloyd.
“Chalking out Ranveer's favourite workout is difficult. He enjoys working out all muscle groups but likes to work his shoulder and abs first," says Lloyd, adding that he replicates Ranveer's lifestyle, including his diet, when he is with him to keep him motivated.
Ranveer’s tough schedule includes breakfast at 6:30, followed by an hour workout from 7:30-8:30.
After 12 hours of shoot from 9 am to 10 pm, where he has food after every three to four hours, is followed by a 30-45 minutes of cardio. Then after Ranveer takes his last meal at around 11:30 and wraps up his day.
