Mumbai, July 20 (IBNS): Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is presently basking in the success of his film 'Sanju', has been sued for over Rs. 50 lakh by the tenant of his Pune apartment, media reports said.

In October 2016, Ranbir reportedly lented his Trump Towers apartment in Pune's Kalyani Nagar to Sheetal Suryawanshi.

Sheetal has now sued Ranbir for allegedly not honouring the terms of the agreement.

She has demanded compensation for damages and interest for being asked to vacate the place much before the lock-in period specified the agreement, Mumbai Mirror reported.

Ranbir, meanwhile, is busy with the shooting of Brahmastra duties in Bulgaria.
