Parineeti Chopra gets a Scuba Diving License

Mumbai, Feb 22 (IBNS): Actress Parineeti Chopra ticked off an item from her wish list after she received her Scuba Diving license.

The actress fell in love with diving in Bali and decided to train in order to get the licence.

Following her training at Orca Dive Club in Mumbai, Parineeti can dive up to 30 metres deep (100 feet), as her Open Water License permits.

Speaking about her experience, the actress said, "Diving is like meditation. It really is one of the most peaceful, exhilarating and exciting experiences of my life. Underwater, it’s absolutely silent and you get to see a wholly different world- things you never see on land! Its like flying only you are underwater. I am a water baby and love to spend 4-5 days on an island diving. You are cut off from the world and it’s very peaceful."

With the Open Water license under her belt, she now plans to get an advance certificate and wants to explore night diving.

Amongst her dream destinations to scuba dive are New Zealand and the Galapagos Islands.
