| | Mar 31, 2017, at 05:16 am
Mumbai, Mar 30 (IBNS): Academy Award winning film, The Salesman has not released in India yet. But the reviews of the film worldwide are so good and it looks like an eminent personality of Bollywood is looking at buying the rights of the film.

You heard that right! A certain someone in Bollywood is most likely going to buy the rights of The Salesman and is planning on turning it into a Hindi drama.

The Salesman revolves around the story of a couple who move into a new apartment without doing a background check on the previous tenant.

This leads to the wife getting assaulted and the husband trying to find the culprit and seek revenge. The underlying relatability of the story is possibly the biggest reason behind the remake.

The certain someone is a name that we are not yet ready to reveal yet. However, we can tell you that 2018 could probably bring to you The Salesman in Hindi!

The Salesman is an Iranian film that won 2 awards when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film. It releases in India on March 31st.
