Nawaz,Randeep appreciate Academy for remembering Om Puri

Mumbai, Feb 28 (IBNS) Bollywood appreciated Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for remembering Bollywood actor Om Puri who passed away recently.

Om Puri was remembered  In Memoriam montage, alongside late actors like Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds and Bill Paxton during the annual prestigious award ceremony.

Actor Randeep Hooda tweeted: "Felt immense pride when I saw our own #OmPuri saab up there with the world greats.He truly was #Oscars @TheAcademy."

Another thinking actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui‏ remarked,  "@TheAcademy #Oscars paid homage 2 late #OmPuri, But in #bollywood award functions nobody converse single word for his contribution... SHAME."
